Dr. Kiesselbach stays involved with the educational system by volunteering his time as a teacher. He spends one day per month teaching the oral surgery residents at Highland Hospital in Oakland, California.
Dr. Kiesselbach has written scientific articles that have been published in the Journal of American Oral Surgeons. The most noteworthy of his articles is regarding the original research he did about the location of the lingual nerve in the area of the wisdom teeth. This article has been referred to by many other doctors and has caused further research in this area. All of the subsequent articles support his findings.
